Gotta be just as willing to turn that mirror inward, right folks? I may have my problems with my most hated webcomic, but if you like it and enjoy it, more power to you. To the author’s credit, he reacted to my criticism with class and, to my surprise and delight, kind of got what I was trying to go for. In the end, these strips ended up being bigger than my problems with his writing, and could really be applied to multiple series you care to name, not just his. I still stand by my earlier statements and I still have serious problems with his work, but that doesn’t make him a bad guy and I can’t help but respect him for his candor.
And if nothing else, he has classy (and deathly loyal) fans.
