#358 – “Edgar Allen Woe #18”

It was recently pointed out to me that “Goths” have their origins in East Germany, specifically Visigoths and Ostrogoths. So, by “Oh Goodie!” logic, since I’ve already established there’s a Goth suburb, it’d also make sense to establish “Goth” as an cultural background. Think about it East Germans: there’s a chance you’re part Goth too!

    as i once pointed out to a cute wee baby bat, historically, goths did not go out to clubs, they beat people with clubs…to this day one of my favorite shirts/bumper stickers reads: IF YOU’RE SO GOTH, WHERE WERE YOU WHEN WE SACKED BYZANTIUM??? said shirt inspired the aforementioned conversation…
