Woof, last night was crazy. I had a deadline to meet because I’m guesting again for Paul Taylor of Wapsi Square this year. The comic I made for him is going up on Christmas Eve, so be sure to check it out then!
More than that, I have spectacular news; I got a table approved for C2E2! For those of you who don’t know what that is (my dad thought it was a droid character from “Star Wars”), it’s the Chicago Comic Entertainment Expo, and it’s the new game in town with Chicago comic conventions. Last year was the first year and I sadly couldn’t get a table, but still attended as a patron. Even just walking around I got to meet tons of great artists I respect and admire, so it was a blasty blast. Last year they held it in McCormick Place and they’re doing it again this year, but they’ve moved it to the West Building so they have more room. I think that’s how a shmuck like me managed to get in, but I’m not questioning it.
I can’t WAIT for this show! Apparently they’re even gonna have Geek Speed Dating. Do I dare? Not like I’m gonna have any time to date I’ll be working so much until then…
