#007 – “Corpse Paint Makes Me Not Like Your Band” « Comics

Ironically while in Minneapolis I participated in the Zombie Pub Crawl, so I actually looked like this not too long along myself.

Another piece from the Challenger’s 24 hour comic marathon. Fun fact about this one, the first two panels were done on Bristol board with ink, but to save time I scanned it and completed the last panel in Photoshop with my Wacom tablet. The trippy part is: would you have even known if I hadn’t said anything?

Got a bunch of new changes done to the site. Got up the link to Never Normal (our sister comic) as well as my portfolio page, got up a new header (which I think looks WAY better), and got a new section with banners. I do agree that corpse paint makes me not like bands. Also, I LOVE the placement of a Rush shirt in this strip. I grew up with Rush, so it’s cool to me to see other people like them too.

I could make a comment about Rolling Stone‘s relevance (or lack thereof), but I’m a bit concerned it would make me sound like a huge douchetool.

Heh, I adore Black Metal (some of it at least)!
… but even I absolutely loathe the corpse paint. 😉
