Happy Halloween everybody!
Inspired from a bit from the Press Start movie, I’ve had this comic on my mind for a while. I decided to finally do it after getting inspired by the Angry Video Game Nerd’s tribute to Castlevania. I don’t do color much, but I tell you it’s fun to try and replicate the look of an old 8-bit video game by hand.
I got e-mailed back from the people at C2E2 saying my request for table space had been rejected. At first I wasn’t surprised, after all who am I? But about a dozen other artists I know got rejected as well, which makes me wonder who they’re going to actually get for this bloody thing. I know they’re predicting C2E2 is going to be a major event, but even at this stage I find it slightly unfair you have to go through such a process to get a table.
That’s why I’m not going to take this lying down. If enough people request, I stand a better chance of getting a table. If you’d like to see “Oh Goodie!” at C2E2 this year, contact them and let them know! The power is yours!
