Okay, this one turned out much better than on Wednesday. I’d written quite a few jokes with Shira and her dad, and this one is probably my favorite after the Playboy magazine joke. Nice little interlude, and we get back to what little plot there is on monday.
I’ve been kinda updating in the afternoon because I’m developing a possible new project with my Never Normal partner Amber Whitney and it has to be ready by the end of the month. Not gonna say anything more because nothing is confirmed yet, but that’s why comics have been a little delayed. I’m gonna try to get caught up this weekend.
In the meantime, Jeff’s been insistent that we do something for my birthday even though it was last wednesday, so we’re having a bad movie night at his house in Aurora. I suggested “Battlefield Earth”, and I almost feel sorry for the kid because he’s never seen it.
