Last year, I made brief attempts to have a Tumblr presence by founding a blog that was basically an extension of my portfolio site. Don’t bother looking it up, because I deleted it. Mindlessly re-posting what was already on that page got old really fast and, in the end, I didn’t see the point.

I’ve found since then that Tumblr seems to work best if you use it for a specific interest. If you’re into “Doctor Who”, or Tom Hiddleston, or memes about Osamu Tezuka, etc. So I thought “What am I into?”.

I’m into comics. Specifically, black and white comics. Really, anything black and white. I consider myself primarily an inker. Stuff like that is my bread and butter.

Bearing that in mind, I’m starting a new side project for 2013 called “Gray Man Art“, where I create, re-blog, and talk about different forms of black & white art. This will include mediums ranging from ink, to graphite, to charcoal, to halftone sheets (a personal favorite), to film, to photography, and more! I also won’t just be posting art of my own (though new originals and “Oh Goodie!” pages will be making it onto this page). I’ll also be conducting interviews whenever I can with artists whose primary medium is black & white.

A link is provided in the image below. Follow “Gray Man” now and celebrate black & white of all shapes and sizes!
