My original joke for this was to feature Trowa and Quatre from “Gundam Wing” (it was the flute playing that gave them away), but while I’m being a bit snarky in saying this I’m still half serious when I say there’s more sexual tension between Jacob and Edward (at least in the films) than there is between either of them and Bella. Not to mention while it’s easy to make gay jokes about a bunch of shirtless boys running around in the woods, it goes beyond innuendo and becomes full on overtones when they say in the films that being a werewolf “isn’t a lifestyle choice” and that “I was born this way”. Just…wow. Stephanie Meyer, do you just WANT US to make fun of you that badly? Because we’re more than willing!
